Service Description

The QNUK Level 2 Award in Mental Health at Work (RQF) is the ideal introduction to understanding mental health in the workplace. The qualification covers the most common mental health conditions, how to identify potential mental health concerns in colleagues and then how to discuss their needs and assist them to access suitable services and support. *Ofqual regulated qualification *6 guided learning hours (1 day) *Valid for 3 years *Certificate included *Assessed by MCQs and practical observation • Please bring a form of photo ID. • Lunch will be provided. • Learners are advised to wear suitable, comfortable clothing as many of the courses involve practical activity. • Light evening reading may be required on some courses as part of the certification process. • Please remember, it is the responsibility of the employer that the learner is physically capable of carrying out the role of first aider in the workplace. The duties of a first aider can be physically demanding and in line with the HSE’s Approved Code of Practice, learners must be free from any condition that will affect their participation in the course or in performing first aid in the workplace. • A confirmation email will be sent after the booking is complete. This email will outline the location and schedule for the course, with important documents attached.
